The present paper consists of two chapters. The first chapter is theoretical, and the second is practical. This study relies on a mixed-methods approach combining both qualitative and quantitative approaches. a questionnaire were distributed to first-year masters' students and the written interview were distributed to teachers from the English Department at the University Center in Naama. The analysis of the questionnaire revealed that students who used educational technology and apps reported higher levels of motivation and engagement in their language learning compared to those who did not.
