Abstract
The purpose of the current study is to investigate the use of educational technology and apps,
also to highlight the importance of using technology in EFL instruction to improve language
learning, acquisition, motivation, and engagement, as well as to demonstrate its impact. The
present paper consists of two chapters. The first chapter is theoretical, and the second is
practical. This study relies on a mixed-methods approach combining both qualitative and
quantitative approaches. a questionnaire were distributed to first-year masters' students and
the written interview were distributed to teachers from the English Department at the
University Center in Naama. The analysis of the questionnaire revealed that students who
used educational technology and apps reported higher levels of motivation and engagement
in their language learning compared to those who did not. The data also suggests a positive
correlation between technology use and language acquisition in specific areas, such as
vocabulary and grammar development.
